Mallory O'Connor is speaking at VanUE

Mallory has been part of the Vancouver UX and experience design community since the late 90's (she co-founded VanUE and the Vancouver UX Awards after a career pivot from psychology!). Part of her longevity in the industry lies in her ability to reset, reskill and craft her career through several transitions.

Crafting an age-proof career with longevity and purpose

(in an era of technological upheaval and perceived disposable talent)

In this talk and Q&A, Mallory will:

  • Share insights about her own experience in maturing her career focus in an always changing industry
  • Dig into our shifting demographic landscape in Canada and the career opportunities it creates
  • Share ideas for how you, your workplace and society can benefit from an aging workforce

Mallory has crafted an almost 17 year career, made up of many roles, at Habanero. Currently, as the Practice Lead, Culture and Transformation, she focuses her skillset in empathy, facilitation and relationship-building on shaping and delivering compelling changes to organizational culture, purpose, values and vision, customer and employee experiences and the digital landscape.
