Habanero hosting and presenting at ALI’s Virtual Microsoft 365 Certificate Series

We’re excited to be hosting and presenting at the Advanced Learning Institute’s three-day virtual certificate training series, Internal Communications Strategies with Microsoft 365: How to Maximize SharePoint, Teams, Viva and Copilot.

About the series

Through immersive sessions and demonstrations, attendees will learn how to use the Microsoft 365 platform (SharePoint, Teams, and Viva) to simplify and boost internal communications, employee engagement and the digital workplace experience.

What to expect

On the first three Thursdays this September, Habanero Vice President Ben Skelton will host a series of workshops from organizations across industries. The following sessions will be led by Habs:

SharePoint intranet consolidation strategies and approaches

Are multiple intranets and a proliferation of SharePoint sites complicating communication at your organization? You’re not alone. Many organizations wrestle with the challenges of intranet site and content sprawl: siloed news, poor search experience, lack of content governance and an inconsistent employee experience. In this session, Ben Skelton, Habanero vice president, and Chris Radcliffe, digital workplace advisor, will explore the pitfalls of a disjointed intranet experience and share strategies you can use to rein in your content.

What intranet features do people actually use?

In this session, Brandon Martel, intranet support and success specialist, will review the aggregate analytics from all of the intranets we support to understand which features are worth your time. We’ll explore:

  • The features and capabilities that drive the most intranet traffic and usage
  • The hits-and-misses – features that are highly successful in some organizations, while receiving low usage in others
  • The features that consistently under perform

If you have intranet analytics – bring them to the session – as we share the intranet hits and low performers in our client organizations.

A Microsoft Copilot learning journey

In this session, Chris Lucier, digital workplace consultant, and Tomi Adeleye-Olusae, employee experience specialist, will provide a behind-the-scenes look at Habanero’s Copilot journey. We’ll explore our guiding principles, experiments and scenarios where Copilot can help and where it doesn’t currently add value. We’ll also have time to explore your experiences with Copilot, what’s working in your organization, and what’s not.

Who should attend

This series is designed for internal communicators and business users of Microsoft 365 tools who are looking to improve and elevate their intranet systems and enhance internal communications and employee engagement in the workplace.
