We’re proud to announce that our organization has been named on the 2021 list of Best Workplaces for Inclusion.
We aim to create an inclusive workplace not only for our current employees and future employees, but also within employee relationships and in our communities. Inclusion is central to creating safer work environments where all people can be their authentic and full selves. This work is an integral part of our purpose to help people and organizations thrive.
Our approach to inclusion is anchored in a commitment to equity and belonging. This means we’re focused on addressing privileges and barriers that create unequal starting places for people and nurturing a culture that fosters a sense of acceptance, inclusion and identity for employees. We’re committed to leaning into tough conversations and taking thoughtful, meaningful action that leaves no one behind.
“People are empowered to create meaningful change when they have a strong, authentic basis of understanding and a chance to buy into each step of the journey,” says Habanero President Steven Fitzgerald. “We’ve worked hard to create solid principles, a strong network of teams and an Agile rhythm that ensures we continue to make progress on the most important things. Laying this groundwork takes time but is well worth it.”
The list of Best Workplaces for Inclusion is based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by Great Place to Work. The data has a 90% confidence and a plus or minus 5% margin of error.
To be on this list organizations must:
- Be GPTW Certified in the past year
- Have at least 90% of their employees agree they are treated fairly, regardless of personal characteristics (such as gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation)
GPTW determines the best based on employee responses to inclusion-related Trust Index statements.
