Habanero was a finalist in two categories on the Alberta's Best Workplaces 2011 list, as featured in Alberta Venture Magazine. The awards recognize those Alberta-based companies leading the way in corporate culture and human resource development.
Habanero received honourable mentions in the following two categories:

- Best Overall Workplace (Under 100 Employees)
