The Habanero Consulting Group, a Vancouver-based consulting services firm, today announced that it has developed two technology solutions for British Columbia-based organizations that are being featured in a New York, NY showcase during the Microsoft world-wide launch of MS Office 2003.
Habanero's solutions are two of only three Canadian solutions among over forty chosen from around the world by Microsoft to be part of the showcase. One of these is among only four solutions that is scheduled to be demonstrated during Microsoft Chairman of the Board and Chief Software Architect Bill Gate's keynote address being broadcast to simultaneous launches being held around the world today.
The Habanero solution for the BC's Fraser Health Authority (FHA) will slash the time and cost of their information management project approval process. This solution will allow the FHA to effectively administer its portfolio of information management projects, ensuring that projects are prioritized to provide the greatest benefit with a goal to improve healthcare.

The showcase will also feature Habanero's Single Source Publishing Solution, created for The Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia (CLE). This solution allows CLE to produce two formats of publications, paper and online, with the same tools and effort they have always used to create paper-only publications. The new online format is providing CLE with a new revenue stream and users with additional online features that provide valuable related information with the click of a mouse.
