Habanero consultants spoke to packed auditoriums at the Comdex West Conference in Vancouver on March 13th and 14th, about two timely topics: 'Making Smart Internet Technology Decisions' and 'The Top Ten E-Business Mistakes'.
Neil Jensen, CEO and co-founder of Habanero, presented at the core conference track on Tuesday March 13th on "Making Smart Internet Technology Decisions". Smart companies know that Internet technology decisions are driven by solid business objectives. Participants learned how and where they can optimize their Internet strategy by linking to internal systems such as CRM applications and e-commerce/transaction software.
Trevor Hartl, Project Manager with Habanero, also spoke at the core conference track, with his presentation "Top 10 E-business Mistakes". Trevor drew on his experience managing the implementation of several types of e-business projects — from enterprise application implementation to commercial web site construction — to give a practical, 'lessons learned' presentation. Ten of the most frequent and costly mistakes in the world of e-business projects, including relevant examples of each, were covered in detail. These included mistakes like "Poorly Structured Teams", "Not Planning for Maintenance", and "Choosing the Wrong Technology/Consulting Partners".
