Our story

Two professional engineers, who believed that the Internet would fundamentally change how organizations do business, founded Habanero over 17 years ago. They believed then, and we still do today, that success comes from building authentic relationships with clients, partners, and employees; that it’s important always to do what is right, even if it might be painful in the short-term; and that placing an emphasis on continuous improvement is vital.

Habanero remains privately owned and is led by co-founder Steven Fitzgerald. We are entirely funded from our operations, are profitable, and produced over $12 million in revenue in 2012.

A commitment to sustainability

Our locations

Our offices are centrally located next to major transit stations. A vast majority of Habanero employees bike, walk, or use public transit to travel to work.

Recycling

We use 100% recycled paper and environmentally-friendly cleaning supplies, and have an office-wide recycling program in place, which includes recycling all used electronic equipment.

Technology

We virtualize servers to greatly reduce our power consumption and reduce travel through the use of an office-wide video conferencing system.

Our solutions

We’ve helped organizations improve awareness of their carbon emissions, migrate from paper-based to electronic processes, and reduce company travel through better collaboration tools.
